How to Play Just in Time Translations - Say It in 6 Languages

Quick start

Choose one target language and a familiar phrase category. Read its phonetic guide, play the pronunciation and repeat a short phrase before opening a learning minigame. Follow that activity's answer prompt, then revisit a confusing word rather than switching among all six languages at once.

Controls

Use the DS touch menus to choose a language, phrase and available learning activity. Tap the pronunciation playback control to hear the entry again. In a minigame use only the selection or input requested by its prompt; repeating aloud is practice and should not be assumed to trigger automatic speech grading.

Just in Time Translations - Say It in 6 Languages — About this game

Just in Time Translations combines a portable phrase translator with language-learning minigames. Its six study languages are Spanish, French, Chinese, German, Japanese and Italian; phonetic spellings and spoken playback help you compare a phrase's written form and sound. Separate conversion tools handle practical units, while the games provide an answering activity rather than only browsing entries. Begin with one language and a familiar category, listen to a short phrase and inspect its pronunciation before entering the available game. Read the current prompt and return to a missed word for another listen. The goal of a session is to practise a small set, not to finish six languages at once. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
