How to Play Kao the Kangaroo
Quick start
Choose New Game, select the language and enter the Tutorial before starting the first map level. Practise walking, diagonal running, jumps, punches and the checkpoint marker, then follow the blinking path on the world map. Reach the end while collecting hearts, coins and key parts; 120 small coins grant an extra life, while completed key sets open bonus levels. The game supplies a password when progress is saved.
Controls
Use Left/Right on the Control Pad to walk and diagonal Up+Left/Right to run. A jumps and B punches. SELECT drops a checkpoint and START pauses; START+SELECT quits a previously completed level. A+R performs a bottom slam. Hold L with a direction to look around. B+Up throws a collected Power Glove, while B+Down performs a tail slam.
