How to Play Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer
Quick start
Press START, choose Amateur difficulty and select Tutorial before entering Championship. Follow the prompts to catch a wave, stand with A, turn along its face and practise one jump and clean landing. Then choose Championship, a surfer and the first available beach; complete the displayed objectives during each heat to advance. Build speed before releasing A at the lip, and land straight before attempting longer trick links.
Controls
On a wave, Up speeds up, Down slows or stalls and Left/Right turns. A stands up, accelerates while held, and jumps when released; B also speeds up and performs grabs. L rotates left and performs slides or floaters, while R rotates right, snaps or stands up. Use Left/Right or L/R in the air to rotate. Direction+A performs quick air tricks and direction+B performs grabs. START pauses; SELECT is unused.
