Each colour’s number sequence must keep its chosen ascending or descending direction, so starting a path can limit later choices. Pieces left near the beginning can cost points, making focused progress safer than opening every path. Begin with the tutorial, inspect a few cards of one colour and decide which direction gives that piece room to advance.
