How to Play Kidou Senshi Gundam 00
Quick start
Select the opening mission and follow its objective. Practise rising, descending, targeting and a ranged attack, then close in for melee. When the tension gauge allows, activate Awakening and try its melee attack.
Controls
Move with the Control Pad; Y rises and B descends. A fires, X attacks in melee and R locks on to or changes the target. Touch the Awakening control when the tension gauge is ready, and follow the mission’s defense instructions.

Pilot a Gundam through mission-based 3D aerial battles. Choose a mission, locate hostile Mobile Suits and manage distance between ranged fire and close combat rather than waiting for turns. As the tension gauge fills, the touch panel can trigger Awakening, opening spectacular melee techniques and combinations. Start with the first mission and practise altitude changes and lock-on before rushing into a crowd; keep an eye on the gauge so you can use the powered state at a useful moment.
