How to Play KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded
Quick start
Start a new game and follow the opening Data-Sora instructions. Practise movement, jumping and a normal attack, try the equipped command and watch its recharge. Open the Stat Matrix when introduced and place the offered chip as shown.
Controls
Move with the Control Pad, use A for normal attacks and B to jump. X uses the selected Deck Command; Y uses an acquired ability. L cycles commands, R resets the camera and L+R toggles lock-on. Follow special-stage instructions when the gameplay changes.

Keyblade combat combines ordinary strikes with a deck of magical and physical commands, while the Stat Matrix uses chips to build your abilities. Some worlds change the action into side-view, shooting or command-based encounters. Begin with the opening combat lesson, learn one attack and one deck command, then inspect the matrix before taking on the next challenge.
