How to Play Kirby: Canvas Curse
Quick start
Touch an empty file, choose Main Game and accept Training to learn the stylus actions. Start the first available stage after practising lines, dashes and enemy taps. Draw a short rising path to guide Kirby, then lift the stylus to let the ink refill instead of covering the whole screen. Check the upper map for the route and approach hazards with enough ink to draw a shield. START pauses; touch Continue to resume.
Controls
Drag the stylus across the lower screen to draw a rainbow line; Kirby rolls along it in the drawing direction. A vertical line can turn him back, and lines block attacks. Tap Kirby to dash, tap an enemy to stun it, then collide with it to defeat it. Tap star blocks and devices to break or activate them. When Kirby holds a Copy Ability, tapping him uses that ability; check its details on the pause screen. START pauses. Directional movement and jumping are handled through drawn paths.

Kirby is a ball in a painted world, and the paths you draw become his way through its hazards. Rainbow lines carry him in the direction they were drawn, create climbs to higher ledges and shield him from attacks. Drawing consumes ink, so short, purposeful strokes and moments on solid ground help keep the route open. Tapping enemies stuns them, while touching Kirby sends him dashing into foes and can earn a Copy Ability. Beyond reaching stage goals, hidden medals and Rainbow Run trials encourage another look at the courses, with challenges based on speed or economical use of ink.
