How to Play Kirby Super Star Ultra
Quick start
Choose an empty file and 1P Adventure, then select Spring Breeze on the corkboard. It is the initial adventure; more games open as you clear content. Follow the beginner instructions and enter Green Greens. Use A/Y to jump and hover, B to inhale and Down to swallow an ability-bearing enemy. Try X to turn a copied power into a Helper. Clear stages to advance and save automatically.
Controls
D-pad: move; double-tap left/right to dash, Up enters doors and Down swallows an inhaled enemy. A or Y: jump; press repeatedly in the air to hover. B: inhale, spit out or use the current Copy Ability. START: pause. X: create a Helper from your Copy Ability, or use the Helper return action when Kirby has no ability. L or R: guard. Touch screen: menu selection; some sub-games use touch input.
Kirby Super Star Ultra — About this game
Several Kirby adventures share one Nintendo DS collection, beginning with Spring Breeze and opening more games as you progress. Each uses Kirby’s jumps, hovering and copied powers, but the goals change: a short quest, a race for food or an extended treasure hunt can ask for different approaches. A copied ability can also become a Helper that fights beside you, adding another way to handle enemies. Ultra rebuilds the Super Nintendo collection with updated presentation and extra challenges, including modes focused on other characters and tougher boss battles. Learning an ability’s moves from the pause screen helps you get more from each compact adventure.
