Controls
D-pad moves the boxer; A jabs and B hits the body. Move away to block, press A+B to clinch and SELECT to pause. After a knockdown press A, then B repeatedly to get up.

The roster includes Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar De La Hoya. Slugfest offers a ladder with a chosen fighter, while the career option follows a created boxer. Learn the basic jab and body attack before adding directional moves, then use defense when the rival takes the initiative. The original game also supports a head-to-head bout with a Game Link cable.
