How to Play Kyuukyoku Harikiri Stadium: Heisei Gannen Ban

Quick start

First, in EDIT, set the team to be controlled and the number of league games. The team you control should be set to MAN instead of COM. Use A to make selections and decisions in the edit, and START to make decisions after selecting a mode and to start the game. If you want to select a game from the league schedule and manually perform both batting and defense, select PLAY. Please note that the first attacking side uses a 1P controller, and the second attacking side uses a 2P controller. When the game starts, first get a grasp of the flow of the game by checking the batting (A), pitching (A), and the runners advancing to base (B) and returning to base (A).

Controls

The cross button is used to move players, designate bases, control the ball, and select substitutes. A is for batting, pitching, throwing, and returning to base, and B is for checking base advance, touch plays, and runners on base. START is the decision after selecting each mode, the start of the game, and the time announcement during the match. SELECT is used to open the change mode window or cancel the number of matches setting. Select/determine in the edit is A. The first player is controlled by 1P, and the second player is controlled by 2P, so please use the controller that suits your team.

Kyuukyoku Harikiri Stadium: Heisei Gannen Ban — About this game

``Ultimate Harikiri Stadium 1989 Edition'' is a Famicom baseball game where you can enjoy not only pitching, batting and base running, but also player growth and team formation. 14 teams, including idol teams and celebrity teams, will compete in two leagues of seven teams each. In the pennant race, the number of games and teams are set, and the aim is to win the league championship and then the Japan Series. Features include training that distributes points earned in open games to players, and data changes that use passwords for new players and new teams. The batting average and ERA change depending on the match results, making it fun to follow the daily results. Mode settings are done from EDIT, so make sure your team is set to manual control before choosing a one-shot match right away. A ZOOM production is also available to enlarge the close-up play.
