L: Rasen no Trap casts you as a kidnapped rookie FBI agent, investigating a hotel while communicating with L. Search rooms for tools and keywords before the escape clock expires. Traps use multiple steps: examine them, apply a suitable tool to improve the success chance, then stop the moving marker inside the safety zone. Failures cost time and can hurt you. Between searches, choose four evidence keywords that address L's current reasoning objective. Start a new file, enter the requested identity and inspect the first room carefully; learning an object's purpose saves hurried guesses when a trap activates.
