Quick start
Choose language, save slot, difficulty and a name. Select the first unlocked level, read its objectives and practice the opening jump. Check the touch inventory before a combat or swimming section.
Controls
The Control Pad moves, B jumps, A fires, X grapples and Y performs actions; START pauses. In lower-screen combat press A to draw, then touch to shoot. Underwater use the stylus with the displayed swim controls and surface before air runs out.

Tomb Raider: Legend on DS mixes side-view traversal with battles and touch-screen interactions. Run and jump across gaps, use the grappler on suitable objects and inspect switches or movable items before choosing a route. Certain enemies appear on the lower screen for a focused shooting encounter; underwater movement also uses the touch screen while the air meter runs down. Begin by choosing a language, an empty save slot and difficulty, then read the first level's objectives. Learn one jump and grapple before rushing ahead, and use the inventory and PDA to check equipment and the current task.
