Legend of the Guardians on DS puts Shard in missions involving flight, fighting and carrying objects. Guide the owl around obstacles, rescue a creature to a safe point or retrieve an ember for a task. Encounters interrupt travel with defensive and attack prompts, so observe the incoming move before responding. Start with the tutorial flights to learn steering and turning before chasing an enemy. Check the mission's destination when carrying something: reaching the correct place matters more than simply staying airborne. Return to the objective after a fight rather than circling without a target.
