How to Play The Legendary Starfy
Quick start
Choose Adventure on the title screen, then Start a New Game. Enter the available area and follow the signboard arrows. Use the D-pad to swim, B for faster swimming or a land jump, and Y for Star Spin. Let Starfy recover between repeated spins. Jump onto the glowing pedestal to finish the area, and use mermaid shells when you find them to save and restore health.
Controls
Default controls: D-pad swims or walks; B jumps on land and gives Turbo Swim with a direction in water. Y performs Star Spin; direction plus Y dashes on land. X enters doors or talks. A confirms menus, B returns and START opens pause. Read a transformation’s Abilities entry after Bunston changes Starfy. The pause menu also offers Suspend Save for a one-use continuation.
The Legendary Starfy — About this game
The Legendary Starfy begins when a strange visitor crashes into Starfy’s home and is pursued by shadowy attackers. Starfy and Moe fall from Pufftop into the ocean, starting a journey through watery passages and land sections. Star Spin defeats enemies, breaks certain walls and pushes through strong currents, but repeated spinning can leave Starfy dizzy. Bunston later lends transformation powers that change how you tackle obstacles. Follow signboard arrows to a glowing pedestal to clear an area and open the next route. Pearls support health recovery and shopping, while mermaid shells let you save and refill health. Watch for doors and hidden routes without losing sight of the next safe stretch of water.
