How to Play Lil' Monster
Quick start
Choose Start and an empty save file. Enter your name with the D-pad and A, cancel with B and finish with END. From Pop Forest, open the command menu with A, choose Move and visit Olive Town for the teacher's introduction. Train your creature and prepare a twenty-gem deck before battle.
Controls
The D-pad selects menu items and commands. A confirms, advances messages and opens the command window; B cancels. START begins the game, and SELECT shows gem explanations. Choose Save from the menu to preserve progress rather than searching for a movement button on the map.
Lil' Monster — About this game
Different areas offer different items and monsters, so travel and training support one another. Use training items to improve attributes and collect new gems through battles or minigames. A varied deck gives more answers than one built only around strong attacks: an opponent's suit or reflecting defense can change which move is useful. Check the gem explanations and revise the deck when a familiar approach stops working.
