If you want to start with Start and proceed with the story, select "Mage's Conspiracy". On the first map, press B to open the menu and select "Recruitment" to hire fire, water, and wind warriors. Since you cannot move immediately after hiring them, you will have to use your own castles or secured magic circles to dispatch them from the next turn. Don't advance with all your troops while leaving the castle empty, but move forward while protecting the villages and sortie bases that can be recovered. In battle, combine A's jump and B's attack, and practice matching your attack to your opponent's landing. Be careful not to kill the prince in battle, fall to your own castle, or exceed the turn limit, and aim to capture the enemy castle by defeating its garrison.

D-pad: Move/select on the map. A: Decide, jump in battle. B: Cancel, call map menu, attack in battle. Left and right in battle: move, down: crouch. While crouching press B for a low attack, while jumping press B for an air attack. There are also some types of soldiers that can perform special attacks while jumping. Start: Start the game.
