How to Play The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest
Quick start
Choose an opening difficulty and follow the first chapter. Practice blocking just before a strike, defeat the group leader and inspect a chest or equipment upgrade before continuing.
Controls
Move with the DS controls shown in the introduction and use the indicated light, heavy and bow attacks. B blocks; time it to parry and stun. Use the stylus for a rune-tracing prompt when a door requires it.
The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest — About this game
Aragorn's Quest on DS follows Aragorn through a linear overhead action adventure narrated by Sam. Light and heavy strikes, bow shots and timed blocks help break enemy groups; an orc captain may support nearby soldiers, so choosing a target matters. Experience and equipment from chests improve combat, with ability points opening special attacks. Begin by learning a basic attack and the B-button parry before taking on a crowd. Keys, mechanisms and occasional rune tracing open the route onward. Revisit completed chapters to develop Aragorn or try the unlocked arenas after learning the campaign's combat rhythm.
