How to Play The Lord of the Rings: Conquest
Quick start
Choose a class and complete the opening objective. Capture the indicated point, watch the battlefield and try another role once you understand how the first class fights.
Controls
Choose the button or stylus control scheme. The stylus scheme taps an enemy for a basic attack and uses shown swipes or circles for other actions, sometimes with a shoulder button. Follow the selected scheme's class instructions.
The Lord of the Rings: Conquest — About this game
The Lord of the Rings: Conquest on DS uses an overhead battlefield with three regular classes. Warriors fight close, archers attack from range and mages supply spells, so choose a role that fits the current objective. Campaign missions ask for command points, destroyed targets or defeated forces; captured points also help control where units return to battle. Begin with one class and learn its attack and defensive action before rushing toward a distant point. Conquest mode lets you fight for good or evil, and progress brings special units with familiar abilities. Read the mission goal rather than trying to win every battle only by chasing enemies.
