How to Play Battlezone 2000
Quick start
Press B to reach the setup menu. Start with an automatic tank setup, cycle through the choices with A, then select OK and press A. Move before opening fire so enemies do not trap you against obstacles.
Controls
Directional pad: drive forward or backward and turn. A: fire a shot. B: launch a missile. PAUSE: pause. In setup, up/down selects a setting and left/right adjusts its value.
Battlezone 2000 — About this game
A computer virus has turned powerful automated tanks against humanity. Your tank enters the battle zones with a limited supply of fuel, ammunition, missiles and shielding, so choosing its equipment is part of the fight. The overhead battlefield rewards manoeuvring around obstacles rather than trading hits in place. Use ordinary shots for routine targets and save missiles for dangerous encounters. Watch your resources as you clear the area: even a powerful tank becomes vulnerable when its fuel or protection runs low.
