How to Play Blue Lightning
Quick start
Press A or B through the title screens, accept AAAA with A for the first mission, then press A on the runway to take off. Align the cannon on a nearby target and wait for the lock indicator before spending a missile.
Controls
Directional pad: steer the aircraft. A: cannon. B: guided missile. OPTION 1: afterburner. Hold OPTION 2 and press left or right for a barrel roll. PAUSE pauses the action.
Blue Lightning — About this game
From behind your experimental fighter, track enemy aircraft and attack ground or sea targets across a succession of missions. The cannon has unlimited ammunition, while guided missiles require a target lock and a little restraint. Afterburners help close the distance to escaping targets, and a barrel roll can break an incoming missile attack. Mission objectives vary, so destroying everything in sight is not always enough. Complete an assignment to receive a password, then carry your knowledge of aiming and evasive flying into the next sortie.
