How to Play Dinolympics
Quick start
Accept the LYNX starting code with A or B. Inspect the first obstacle, select a tribesman and try the available abilities before moving the whole group. Place companions where they can help one another climb.
Controls
Directional pad: move; down picks up or drops an item. Hold OPTION 1 and press left/right to select a caveman. A cycles abilities; B performs the selected ability. For a leap, B starts the strength gauge and B again launches the jump.
Dinolympics — About this game
Your tribe must survive a succession of prehistoric obstacles by using the right caveman, tool and action. Control one tribesman at a time, build human ladders, vault gaps with spears and use discoveries such as rope and wheels to open new routes. The time limit makes planning important, but leaving a companion behind can also ruin a solution. Items are limited to one per caveman, so transporting equipment becomes part of the puzzle. Progress comes from combining the tribe’s abilities rather than simply reaching the far side with a single character.
