Quick start
Begin a party from the opening menu. Inspect the characters and their equipment, then explore one corridor at a time. Learn how selecting an item differs from using it before entering a fight.
Controls
Use the directional pad to move the cursor through the interface and select movement commands. A selects an item; B uses an item. Select the party’s movement arrows to travel through the dungeon.
Eye of the Beholder (Prototype) — About this game
This is a prototype version. An adventuring party descends beneath Waterdeep to investigate an evil presence in its sewers and catacombs. Explore corridors from a first-person view, search for useful equipment and deal with monsters while managing several characters. Doors, switches and items make observation as important as combat strength. The role-playing rules give party members different strengths, so keeping equipment and resources organized helps you survive deeper exploration. Move carefully around unexplored corners and retreat to a known passage when an encounter becomes difficult.
