How to Play Hard Drivin'
Quick start
Choose Auto with left/right and confirm with A or B. At Start Engine, press B, then hold it to accelerate. Begin with gentle steering inputs and brake before your first bend instead of learning at maximum speed.
Controls
Left/right: steer. Hold B: accelerate. A: brake. OPTION 1 and OPTION 2 shift up and down with manual transmission. To reverse, brake to a stop and press OPTION 2; stop again and press OPTION 1 to drive forward.
Hard Drivin' — About this game
A cockpit view puts you behind the wheel of a sports car on a course shared with ordinary traffic. Choose an automatic or manual transmission, then race through checkpoints to extend the clock. A speed route emphasizes fast cornering, while the stunt route demands controlled approaches to ramps, a loop and broken roadway. Collisions cost precious time as your car is reset. Smooth steering and braking before bends are more useful than holding the accelerator constantly, especially when approaching oncoming traffic or a difficult stunt.
