How to Play Super Asteroids & Missile Command
Quick start
On the selection screen, press left for Super Asteroids or right for Super Missile Command, then A to begin. Practise turning before thrusting in the first game; in the second, aim ahead of incoming missiles.
Controls
Super Asteroids: left/right rotates, B provides thrust and A fires. Super Missile Command: the directional pad moves the cursor, A fires missiles and B uses a special weapon. In the shop, select an item and press B to buy; A changes shop screens.
Super Asteroids & Missile Command — About this game
Two arcade challenges share one cartridge. In the asteroid game, rotate a spacecraft, fire at drifting rocks and use thrust to escape danger while managing momentum. In the missile-defence game, move a targeting cursor and place explosions where incoming attacks will meet them before reaching your colonies. Between defence waves, purchases improve your missiles and special weapons. The two games demand different rhythms: one rewards controlling movement in open space, while the other asks you to predict trajectories and protect several targets at once.
