How to Play Switchblade II
Quick start
Start the game, move Hiro to the right and practise a normal jump before combining A with up for extra height. Collect coins from defeated enemies and look for a lit doorway leading to a shop.
Controls
Directional pad: move; down ducks. A: jump; up with A gives a higher jump. B: use the weapon. OPTION 1 at the title screen swaps A and B, so check the setting before play.
Switchblade II — About this game
Hiro sets out to stop Havok in a side-scrolling world of platforms, enemies and hidden shops. Defeating foes provides coins that buy stronger weapons, energy and other assistance. Ammunition limits your attacks, and an empty supply sends Hiro back to his switchblade until he finds more. Food restores energy, while special jewels add points. Explore carefully for lit shop entrances, then decide whether survival supplies or a stronger weapon will help most in the next stretch of dangerous terrain.
