How to Play Xybots
Quick start
Begin a game, follow the first corridor and check the map before choosing a junction. Collect energy and coins, then find an exit rather than trying to shoot indefinitely. Save the zap attack for crowded or dangerous encounters.
Controls
Directional pad: move. Hold B and press a direction to turn around corners. A: shoot. OPTION 1: zap attack, consuming energy. OPTION 2: view the map. At vending machines, up/down selects an item and A buys it.
Xybots — About this game
A space station has fallen to hostile robots, and your armoured warrior must search its winding corridors for a way forward. Move through a third-person maze, turn at intersections and shoot enemies before they drain your energy. Coins buy upgrades at vending machines, while energy supplies keep your suit working. A powerful zap attack can clear danger, but it consumes the same resource that keeps you alive. Use the map to orient yourself and weigh a detour for supplies against the cost of spending longer in the station.
