How to Play Madden NFL 06
Quick start
Choose PLAY NOW for an exhibition, select teams and rules, then start the game. Pick a simple run or short-pass play, press A to snap and move with the D-pad; tap a receiver button for a lob or hold it for a bullet pass. On defense, switch with A, sprint with B and contain the ball carrier before attempting a dive.
Controls
Offense: A snaps; D-pad runs or scrambles; A sprints as runner. For passes, A shows symbols, then A/B/L/R throws—tap to lob, hold for bullet. Receiver: B switches, R catches, L dives. Defense: D-pad moves, A switches defender, B sprints, R dives, L jumps/raises hands. START pauses; B begins audibles before the snap.
