How to Play Madden NFL 07
Quick start
Choose a short exhibition game or Practice with one team. Select a simple running play, read the down and yards needed, then snap and follow the blocking. Try one short pass next, checking the receiver marker before throwing. Review the result before changing formations.
Controls
Select plays on the touch screen and use the chosen DS control scheme for movement and passes. Touch hot-route or defensive-playmaker controls to draw a receiver route or assign the shown defender icon. Kicks use target placement followed by a quick straight stroke. Microphone audibles are an optional configured feature.
Madden NFL 07 — About this game
The 07 DS game expands touch tactics around the same snap-by-snap football decisions. Draw a receiver's hot route, assign a defensive playmaker icon or place a kick target before the action. Its lower screen shows the three-dimensional field while the upper screen supplies an overview, helping you find space without losing track of coverage. Season and multi-year Franchise sit alongside custom competition, situations, Mini Camp and Two Minute Drill. Begin with a simple running play, then alter one route and watch whether it creates space. Set microphone audibles only after learning the corresponding plays; ordinary controls remain available. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
