How to Play Pang: Magical Michael
Quick start
Begin in Tour Mode and read the introductory guidance before the first stages. Use the D-pad to find a safe position, then press B to fire upwards. Track the two smaller bubbles after a split and remove them without stepping into their bounce. Use ladders when the layout requires them; try score chains after you can clear a stage reliably.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move Michael and climb ladders, and B to fire a magical column straight upwards. Move out of a bubble's path before firing again. Pick up the displayed shot, shield or time-altering items by moving onto them and adjust to their effect. These are the original DS button controls for the main Tour action; follow each mode's own instructions when choosing another mode.
Pang: Magical Michael — About this game
Michael's failed experiment has filled the world's landmarks with troublesome bubbles, and his magic cane must clean up the result. Each shot travels upwards: a large bubble splits into smaller threats until the smallest pieces can be removed. That creates a choice between fast destruction and keeping the number of moving hazards manageable. Tour Mode adds ladders, breakable scenery and different bubble behaviour to its stage layouts, while useful pickups change shots, slow the action or provide a shield. Panic Mode shifts the emphasis towards surviving successive waves. The DS controls are built around movement and a physical fire button, so positioning beneath a safe opening is as important as reaction speed. Begin by dealing with one bubble at a time, then work towards colour chains and higher scores once you can read the bounce patterns.
