How to Play Maharaja
Quick start
Press start on the title and select "Start from the beginning". Enter your name using the cross key and A, then press Start or ``End'' to begin your adventure. Show the old man the box you picked up by the river and head to the castle. At the castle, use words such as ``see'' and ``talk'' to investigate changes in the situation. When you receive the knife, select ``Bukino Soubi'' from ``Sota Commands'' and not only have it, but also equip it. After proceeding to the town, check the inn and equipment before exploring, and save in a safe place.
Controls
D-pad up and down: Move the command cursor. When you go past the bottom or top row, you will be switched to the next command page (left and right are not used for normal command selection). A: Execution, text sending. B: Return from subcommand to main command. Start: Start, confirm name, display status during game. When entering a name, select a character using the top, bottom, left, or right buttons, press A to enter, and press B to delete one character. Save in a safe place using "Sono Command".
Maharaja — About this game
The protagonist finds a box by the river during his travels and delivers it to a castle, which unexpectedly leads him to the ancient world. It combines an adventure format in which you investigate people and objects on the screen, listen to their stories, and use tools to open a path, with RPG combat in which you grow with experience points. Since there is only one main character, it is important to prepare weapons, armor, and shields, and manage HP and MP. Mantras used for recovery, attack, and support support your adventures, but you don't feel safe just because your level has increased, and you need to learn from someone who can learn them. While you can shop and stay overnight in the city, you'll want to prepare for enemy encounters while exploring the jungle and towers. This is a work where you solve puzzles and develop your child at the same time as you check the changes in the conversation and how to use the items you have obtained.
