How to Play Mahjong Navi DS
Quick start
Start an available CPU or free match and read the table's rules. Inspect the drawn tile before selecting a discard, aiming for a legal scoring hand while watching opponents' discards. Learn when to pass a call instead of taking every offered meld.
Controls
Use the DS touch hand or tile cursor to select a discard and confirm as the current panel requests. Choose displayed call, riichi, win or pass controls only when legal. Inspect the rule setting and score before confirming a meld; menu and help options do not replace making a valid hand.
Mahjong Navi DS — About this game
Mahjong Navi DS combines a playable CPU table with structured instruction. Introductory lessons explain the equipment and winning a hand; later sections cover turn order, riichi and calls. Practice examples and a 120-question term-and-yaku quiz let you check what you have understood. Tap an unfamiliar keyword to consult the dictionary, then return to a hand and compare your discard choices. The separate Mahjong Help tools explain waits, scoring and settlement. Begin with an introductory lesson and a free CPU hand, keeping the table's legal winning patterns in mind. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
