How to Play Mahjong Taisen
Quick start
Press up or down on the title to select RPG mode, then press A to confirm. Select "From the beginning", select a letter with the cross, and enter the name with A. Once you have entered one or more characters, select "End" with A. While moving, press A to open the command, and press ``Talk'' to gather information from the person in front of you or the spaceship's Pal. In the game, use A to control the Tsumo and discarded tiles, and when you have a peace, use B. To record your journey, talk to the doctor at the Tsukinomiya Research Institute branch and choose "Save 1" or "Save 2."
Controls
RPG: Move/select cursor with cross, display window with A, cancel with B. Do not use START/SELECT while moving the RPG. Mahjong: Move the discard tile cursor with the cross, use A to determine the combination of Tsumo/discard tile and Chi/Kan, and B for Long/Tsumo. Top = standing straight, right = pon, left = chi, bottom = kang. START during a game can be paused and resumed, and while stopped, you can adjust the screen position by moving up and down. When entering a name, press A to confirm one character, and press B to cancel one character.

``Mahjong Wars'' is a work that takes place in a universe where mahjong has become the center of civilization, and players face off against an army of evil car players. In RPG mode, you travel around the planet Drapone as a member of the Space Mahjong Alliance and advance your adventure using friends, tools, and spells. Combat is not a normal command attack, but a mechanism in which you attack your opponent by winning a mahjong game. You can also try the waiting tile quiz at the sparrow rock that blocks the road. In addition to collecting information and recovery in town, you also have the purpose of collecting sacred tiles, so both your game skills and your preparation for the adventure are important. Apart from RPG, there is also ``Jissen Mahjong,'' where you select an opponent and hit a half-sho.
