How to Play Major League
Quick start
From the title, press START to proceed to mode selection, select "1P VS COM" with the cross and START. Select a team with the cross and confirm with A. If necessary, change the starting pitcher, bench, or batting order and play ball with START. If you are not used to batting, you can practice in BATTING mode first. In a game, use A to hit or throw, and B to control bunts. After catching the ball, specify where to throw the ball from right = first base, top = second base, left = third base, bottom = home base, and press A.
Controls
Batting: Move the batter's position with the cross, swing with A, and bunt with B. Base running: Steal a base in the direction of the base you want to advance to +B, lead in the direction of the base where the runner is located +A, and return to base in the direction of the base you want to return to +A. Pitching: Pitcher's position on left and right, top + A for fast ball, bottom + A for slow ball. Change the left and right sides after throwing. Defense: Move the fielder with the cross, and after catching the ball, throw the ball in the direction of the bases + A, and touch play with the direction of the bases + B. The base directions are right first base, top second base, left third base, and bottom home base. Press START to start/time, press A during time to proceed to the player substitution screen.
