How to Play Mappy-Land
Quick start
Press START to leave the demonstration and begin from the title. In Railroad Town, use B to grab the cheese and climb ladders to reach other floors. Leave a trampoline during the upward bounce. If cats close in, use A for your rightmost distraction or jump to a pulley. Once every target is collected, head for the exit at the far right.
Controls
Left/Right: walk. Up/Down: climb ladders. B: jump. A: deploy the rightmost stocked distraction. START: title, begin, pause/resume. While rising from a trampoline, press Left/Right to step onto a floor.
Mappy-Land — About this game
Mappy-Land turns the arcade chase into a longer journey built around collecting presents and finding a way through each area. Cheese, wedding rings, Christmas trees and baseballs mark different occasions in Mappy's family life. The eight settings return across four stories, but their hazards and routes keep the chase changing. Trampolines carry Mappy between floors and protect him during a bounce; stepping back onto a platform puts him within reach of the cats again. Collected distractions offer an escape, though the item at the right end of the stock is always spent first. Local contraptions add another option: a pulley can carry Mappy through cats in Railroad Town. Later settings change the movement rules or hide an extra objective beyond a side entrance, so collecting the visible presents is not always the final step.
