How to Play Mario Tennis: Power Tour
Quick start
Choose Power Tour, start a new file, select Clay or Ace and set the character's dominant hand. Follow the opening at the Royal Tennis Academy, speak to the assigned students and complete the first training and Junior Class matches. Use A for reliable topspin, B for slice, and learn A then B for a lob and B then A for a drop shot before spending earned points on attributes.
Controls
Off court, the D-pad moves, A talks or confirms, B runs or cancels, and START opens the menu. In a match, the D-pad moves and aims; A hits topspin, B hits slice, A+A and B+B make stronger versions, A then B lobs, B then A drops, and A+B makes a flat shot or smash. L dives for a distant ball or cancels a charged shot. R checks the Power Gauge and combines with A or B for learned Power Shots; START pauses.
