How to Play Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects
Quick start
Start Arcade with an available fighter such as Wolverine or Human Torch. Learn movement, a basic attack and defense against the first CPU opponent, then use earned points to open more fighters. Keep distance when learning a new power rather than attacking continuously.
Controls
Move with the DS directional controls and follow the displayed physical-button commands for attacks, defense and powers. L toggles automatic aiming; check who is targeted before using a ranged move. Use the menu to inspect unlocked characters and rewards.

The DS edition turns the Marvel–Imperfects conflict into compact arena fights. Arcade begins with a limited roster, including Wolverine and Human Torch, and repeated CPU victories provide points for additional fighters, alternate costumes, arenas and artwork. Each character’s reach and powers change when it is sensible to approach, block or attack from a distance. Automatic aiming can help keep an opponent selected, but you still need to judge spacing and recovery. Begin with a familiar fighter and learn one reliable attack before spending points on a new moveset. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
