How to Play Marvel Super Hero Squad
Quick start
Start the first story chapter with its assigned hero. Move across the platforms, defeat the first enemies and watch the special meter. Save a Super Attack or Super Defend for a crowded fight, then learn the one-on-one boss arena.
Controls
The DS directional pad moves your hero; face buttons provide the shown jump, regular attack, charged attack and grab actions, while shoulder controls block. Touch the large lower-screen Super Attack or Super Defend panel when its meter permits. Follow each hero’s jump or flight limits.
Marvel Super Hero Squad — About this game
Super Hero Squad on DS combines side-scrolling stages with arena boss encounters. A chapter assigns its character, so Wolverine’s close combat and a flying hero’s route require different movement choices. Jump gaps, clear henchmen and collect through the stage while building energy for the lower-screen Super Attack and Super Defend panels. Super Defend provides temporary protection, offering another use for the meter when surrounded. Learn regular moves before spending it. The separate Battle Mode is an arena activity; this Walmart edition’s identity is preserved without assuming an unverified exclusive reward. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
