How to Play Marvel Trading Card Game
Quick start
Complete the Professor X tutorial before the first story duel. Inspect the selected card’s cost and text, play only a legal highlighted action and confirm it. Check Auto Pass settings so you understand when priority advances, then review your deck after the match.
Controls
Touch a card to inspect its enlarged text on the other screen, then choose the available action and green confirmation control. B backs out where cancellation is offered; D-pad or X/Y scroll card text, SELECT opens the glossary and START the pause options. Use the stylus for deck editing and the pass control carefully: advancing a phase can forfeit your opportunity to act.
Marvel Trading Card Game — About this game
Marvel Trading Card Game brings the Vs. System’s character cards, resources, recruitment and combat phases to the DS. Build a deck around compatible heroes or villains, inspect card effects and decide when to act or pass priority. The two screens separate the playing field from readable card details, making the stylus important for selecting legal actions and confirmation. Story and Challenge offer CPU matches, while earned rewards expand your collection and deck choices. Start with Professor X’s tutorials and a simple deck before trying intricate combinations; automatic passing settings can change which response windows you see. Historical network modes are not a promise of current online opponents. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
