How to Play Ace of Aces
Quick start
Press 1 or 2 at the headquarters scene, choose PRACTICE with the D-pad and confirm with 1 or 2. Learn to switch between cockpit, bomb bay and engine views before accepting a mission and choosing its supplies.
Controls
In flight: up descend, down climb, left/right turn; 1 fire the selected weapon. Hold 2 with up for cockpit, down for bomb bay, left/right for the corresponding engine. Menus: D-pad select, 1/2 confirm. In an engine view, left/right selects a control and 1+up/down adjusts it; 1+left uses the extinguisher. In the bomb bay, left/right selects a control and 1+left/right changes it. Open the bomb doors only when the target indicator flashes red.
Ace of Aces — About this game
Take the Hobson FB-61 fighter-bomber into missions against trains, flying bombs, bombers and submarines. Preparation matters as much as aiming: choose the mission and load supplies, then watch the instruments and engine settings during flight. Carrying more supplies reduces maneuverability, so every loadout involves a trade-off. Practice runs let you learn the aircraft before tackling a full mission.
