After Burner — About this game

After Burner places your jet in the foreground as enemy formations rush toward you. Eighteen stages mix aerial combat with landings to collect mission plans before returning to the carrier. Guided missiles and the Vulcan cannon serve different targets, while rapid directional reversals trigger rolls. Surviving depends on moving away from incoming fire rather than staying lined up for every shot.
