Quick start
Enter from the title, choose a new game, game type and team. Select a running play first to learn movement, then try a passing play and pick a receiver before throwing.
Controls
D-pad: menus, move the bracketed player or select a receiver. 1: confirm menu choices and pass on offense. 2: confirm; dive on offense or tackle on defense. Context changes each button’s role.
American Pro Football — About this game
Build drives with running and passing plays, then switch to defense when possession changes. Choosing a play sets the plan, but moving the active player and timing passes or tackles determines what happens on the field. Passing plays let you direct the ball toward a receiver, while a runner can dive for extra distance. Keep the down and distance in mind instead of chasing a big gain on every play.
