How to Play Dick Tracy
Quick start
Press 1 or 2 at the title and begin the game. Walk into the first scene, fire with 1 and jump with 2. Hold 1 while using the directions to aim the machine gun, and keep an eye on incoming fire.
Controls
Left/right: walk/turn. Up: climb ladders. Down: duck. 1: pistol/punch nearby; hold for machine gun and aim with directions. 2: jump. 1+2: call reinforcements; either button resumes.
Dick Tracy — About this game
Dick Tracy fights through the city's criminal hideouts to bring down Big Boy's gang. The Master System adventure combines walking, jumping and close combat with gunfire: tap the attack button for the pistol or a nearby punch, and hold it to use the machine gun with directional aiming. Ladders and ducking change how you approach each scene. Keep an eye on incoming attacks while deciding when to move or return fire. When enemies become overwhelming, Tracy's wrist radio can call for reinforcements.
