How to Play Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Quick start
Press 1 or 2 to reach the mode menu. Choose Exercise to learn or Scenario for robot battles, then confirm with either button. Move and rotate each pair to connect four matching beans.
Controls
Left/right: move the falling pair. Down: drop faster. 1 or 2: rotate/confirm menu selections. Console Pause: pause/resume.
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine — About this game
Pairs of beans fall into the playfield, where four or more touching beans of the same colour disappear. Plan their positions so one clear drops other beans into another match, creating a chain. In battles, these clears send obstructing beans to your opponent; remove incoming obstructions by clearing beside them. Scenario mode pits you against Robotnik's robots, while Exercise offers practice and Puzzle sets specific challenges. A second player can join a versus match.
