How to Play Fantasy Zone II
Quick start
Press 1 or 2 on controller 1 to begin. Move around the first area, fire with 1 and bomb lower targets with 2. Destroy a base and try the green gate that appears. Collect coins, enter a Shop cloud and choose equipment before looking for the remaining bases.
Controls
D-pad: move in eight directions and select items. Hold 1: continuous shots. 2: drop a bomb. In the Shop, 1 or 2 buys the selected item. In Parts, use the D-pad to choose equipment and 1 or 2 to exit. Either button starts the game.
Fantasy Zone II — About this game
Fantasy Zone II gives Opa-Opa more to consider than a single looping battlefield. Green warp gates connect scenes after an enemy base is destroyed, and clearing the bases across the round opens a red gate toward the major confrontation. Bullets handle targets ahead while bombs reach enemies below, so your approach changes with the terrain and enemy positions. Coins fund speed, shot and bomb equipment, which you select through the Shop and Parts screens. Opa-Opa also has a power meter: repeated damage drains it before a life is lost. Explore the connected areas, keep track of the bases still standing and choose upgrades for the enemies you are about to face rather than spending everything at once.
