How to Play Mahjong Sengoku Jidai

Quick start

Start with a face button, choose a match type and a low difficulty, then review the rule settings. Use the right button to draw and discard. Open the call menu with the left button when you want to claim a tile.

Controls

Directions move the cursor; left button 1 opens calls such as pon, chi, kan, ron and reach. Right button 2 draws, discards or passes without calling. In four-seat play, Pause opens a menu with options including viewing the opponents' hands.

Mahjong Sengoku Jidai — About this game

Choose between four-seat mahjong and a two-seat contest against computer opponents. Difficulty and optional rules let you adjust the match before play. Watch your draws, decide which tile to discard and choose carefully when to call a discarded tile or declare reach. The two-seat mode also offers a tournament against eight characters. Success depends on building a valid scoring hand rather than simply matching identical tiles.
