How to Play Masters of Combat
Quick start
Press 1, choose GAME START and select a fighter with the pad and 1. Learn the reach of a basic punch before trying to close the distance; VS GAME uses a second controller.
Controls
D-pad: move and select; 1: confirm and punch; 2: jump. Toward the opponent plus 1 advances; close to an opponent, 1 with left/right performs a throw.
Masters of Combat — About this game
Four fighters enter a tournament with a suspicious prize. Choose a combatant whose reach and techniques suit you, then work through the other challengers in the solo competition or face another player in VS GAME. Punches, jumps, close throws and special attacks reward an understanding of distance. A timed bonus round challenges you to destroy a machine; continuing with the same fighter preserves your tournament progress.
