How to Play Olympic Gold
Quick start
Select a language flag, choose Training and begin with the sprint. Confirm menu choices with 1 and alternate 1 and 2 to build running speed.
Controls
D-pad selects and handles event-specific actions; 1 confirms, 2 deletes entries or ends training. Sprint/hurdles: alternate 1/2, D-pad jumps hurdles. Swimming: 1/2 dives, alternate 1/2 swims, D-pad turns/finishes. Pole vault: alternate 1/2 runs, Down plants, Up launches, 1 releases.
Olympic Gold — About this game
Seven events turn the Barcelona Games into a mix of rhythm, timing and precision. Sprinting and swimming reward alternating button presses, while archery asks you to adjust aim and bow tension for the wind. Pole vault and diving have their own sequences rather than one universal action button. Practise individual events in training, select a smaller programme in Mini Olympics or tackle the full competition. Up to four players can compete, with Club, National and Olympic difficulty levels.
