How to Play Pit-Fighter
Quick start
Press 1 at the title screen, choose Buzz, Ty or Kato and confirm with either button. Use 2 at the title screen to open options. Start by practising punches, kicks and an upward jump attack.
Controls
D-pad moves. 1 punches; 2 kicks. Up+1 jumps forward, Up+2 performs a jump kick. 1+2 performs a special move, limited to three per level. Down+1 picks up objects. Title: 1 starts, 2 opens options.

Pit-Fighter brings Buzz, Ty and Kato into rough street bouts where positioning matters as much as repeated punches. Move around the fighting area to line up kicks, jump attacks and each fighter’s special move. Objects on the ground give you another way to attack. The Master System version includes three types of two-player competition, including a mode where the second player controls the opponents in the solo campaign. Learn one fighter’s reach first, then save special moves for a clear opening rather than spending them while out of range.
