How to Play Quartet

Quick start

Press either button on pad 1 for solo play or pad 2 for two players. Move through the first round, jump with 1 and shoot with 2. Find its Star-power and defeat the leader for the exit key.

Controls

Left/right: move; down: crouch; down diagonals: crouch-walk. 1: jump. 2: shoot. With the jet engine, D-pad flies in eight directions. Enter a warped door with up on foot or 1 when using the jet engine.

Quartet — About this game

Quartet pairs platform shooting with exploration across a space colony under alien attack. Mary fights alone, while a second player joins as Edgar. Defeating a round’s leader earns the key needed for the exit, but simply rushing onward misses an important task: five hidden Star-powers are required to reach round six. A jet engine opens up eight-direction flight, and warped doors connect different parts of the battlefield. Search carefully, manage the incoming enemies and revisit earlier rounds if a Star-power escaped you.
