How to Play Rainbow Islands
Quick start
Press 1 to begin. Use 1 to make a rainbow and 2 to jump, then walk onto the arc. Try dropping one onto an enemy to obtain diamonds, and keep climbing before the time limit expires.
Controls
D-pad: move. 1: start, advance conversations and release rainbows. 2: jump; press just before landing on a rainbow to bounce. At Game Over, 1 continues and 2 returns to the title.
Rainbow Islands — About this game
Rainbow Islands gives Bubby a weapon that doubles as a route upward. Shoot a rainbow at an enemy, walk along its arc to reach a higher ledge, or jump onto it to drop it onto creatures below. Pressing jump just before landing also turns a rainbow into a springboard. The adventure rewards more than survival: collecting seven colored diamonds before a world’s boss earns a large diamond. Move steadily, because running out of time brings rising water. Learn to place each rainbow so it helps both your attack and your next climb.
